I opened Dr Tvacha in Thane on 28 November 2005. My parents were doctors, and I grew up with a ZX Spectrum computer, which is where my love for technology began. That is also why lasers became my field, and why I invested in them early, when few clinics had them.

I started chess at three and a half and played at the national level as a child. My coaches taught me the endgame first, then the middle game, then the opening. I still plan treatment that way: decide the result, then work backwards.

We grew to nine centres around 2014 to 2015, and I chose to come back to four so the doctors stay hands-on. Today I see patients at Thane in the mornings and Andheri in the evenings, and I review every weight loss patient myself, every month.

I am not a dermatologist. I am an Aesthetic Physician, and my rule is simple: tell people plainly what will work, what will not, and what it costs.
